UTA

Well, I have to admit, I am liking the new bus schedules...at least on weekdays. The 205 (formerly 10) now runs every 15 minutes, which is a godsend. Also, the 240 (formerly 34) now goes on the highway at 500 S downtown and gets off at Redwood Rd right by my work. Also there is a transfer wait of only two or three minutes (which could be bad if the 205 is late).

Yep, folks, my 2-hour commute is reduced to a little more than 30 minutes.

Sunday still sucks, but it is better on weekdays...

@!*%^$$%^ UTA!

It was change day today for UTA, because Sunday just isn't hard enough as is! i think John Inglish was sitting in his lair high atop 50 UTA Plaza thinking, "How can I screw up the live of my riders just as badly as, say, I screwed up the transit situation during 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta? Oh! Those were heady days!"

Maybe not, but UTA is planning to have hundreds of employees and volunteers on hand to help people out on MONDAY. Monday. Not Sunday when they change. Hey, here's a thought! Why not begin on Monday?!! *GASP!*

Fusion cuisine

So, I went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen with JL the other day, and ad the best thing ever. It was a sort of Southwestern/Italian fusion cuisine: Tequila-Lime alfredo. Mmmmmm...

It makes me happy.
